Done Right Catering was founded by a group of friends who believe in Good Food, Great People and Great Conversation.

 

Brett Melillo

President


Brett started his culinary career in his grandmother’s kitchen. From there he was a chef at the Prihillian Club in North Haven, CT. Aside from personally catering family functions, Brett was a guest instructor at Crossland Senior High School in their culinary arts department. He also spent four years in management for a major coffee chain. He’s currently a business major at University of Maryland studying entrepreneurship.

Jason Suggs

Chief Operations Officer


Jason Suggs, Chief Operations Officer,  comes to Done Right Catering with an extensive food service background. He comes from 4 years as a manager for a national coffee chain. Jason brings with him a wealth of knowledge for small and large catered functions. He worked in venues such as the National Gallery of Art, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Archstone Wheaton Station,  and The Prince George's Ball Room. Jason has worked for Professional Chef Services, From Victoria's Kitchen, and many others. 

Levi Carter

Executive Chef


Levi Carter, Chief Executive Chef, has had an extensive career in the food service industry for over 15 years. Starting with four years of Military service as a Sergeant in the Army, he continued his studies at the Baltimore International Culinary College where he received a B.A in Culinary arts. He has worked in prominent venues such as the Inner Harbor Omni Hotel, Baltimore, MD; Archstone Wheaton Station, Wheaton, MD; Anchor Inn Seafood Restaurant, Wheaton, MD. Along with his culinary skills, he brings restaurant management experience to all aspects of the business.

Belen Wasihun

Marketing Director



While studying at University of Maryland, Belen sparked an interest in business and marketing. She has extensive knowledge and background in the operations of small businesses.

Gabriel Hawkes

Senior Event Coordinator



With background in interior design and event planning for major companies in the DC area, Gabriel Hawkes, brings life to any event he plans. His ideas work well on a grand scale all the way down to the smallest detail. An event isn’t finished without Gabriel’s personal touch.
